Come be "Happy Gilmore" for a day. We will begin with mini-golf at Pirate’s Cove, which will consist of two 18-hole rounds. After golf, we will eat lunch at Subway, or you may bring your own picnic meal. We will return to Dakota for the afternoon and watch the movie, "Happy Gilmore". Meet at Dakota in Room 205 by 8:45 am. We will be finished by 3:00 pm. You may be picked up at school or ride the bus home.

Description:
We will head out Thursday after school and camp out overnight at Legion Lake Campground in Custer State Park. (At the second organizational meeting we will have temporary one-day passes available.) Thursday evening will be spent in the campground. We will be camping in the upper loop at Center Lake Campground. You are welcome to have a campfire and to cook a meal or have a meal on the way to camp. On Friday morning, we will participate in activities that are part of the park's "No Child Left Inside" program. The camp-out will end at about noon on Friday. You may have lunch in camp or you may eat on the way home. This event requires ONE PARENT per tent or camper and has a maximum of five students per group.

Join us for a day of fishing in the Black Hills. We will take a bus through Custer State Park on our way to Bismark Lake. Once there, you can try your skills at catching a variety of fish species including: trout, perch, crappie, bass, and northern pike.
*If parents/grandparents drive separately, a Black Hills National Forest permit is required. A daily permit can be purchased at the lake for $4.00.

Come join us for a round of golf at LaCroix Links (3820 Odde Drive). You will play one round of golf on the nine hole, par three course. Be at LaCroix at 9:45 AM. Sign up as a foursome. ONE PARENT PER FOURSOME NEEDED. Your parent can be part of the foursome and play. After golfing you will return to Dakota. Bring your own lunch or order a sack lunch from the cafeteria. Join us for a day of boarding!! We will meet at the Skate Park at 9:00 and learn some tricks and play some games for a couple of hours. Mid-morning we will walk to the Elks Theatre to watch a skateboarding movie. After the movie we will have lunch at Hardees and then walk back to the Skate Park. The day will conclude with more skate tricks and games at the Park.

Spend all day at the largest indoor water park in the Dakotas! Description:
Ever wonder what In School Suspension is like but did not want to learn the hard way? Spend a quiet, productive day in the ISS room completing missing work to help your 4th quarter grades. The ISS staff will email teachers and assignments will be waiting for you on that day. Completed work will be turned in for you. We plan to do 2-3 assignments in the morning and 2-3 assignments in the afternoon. We will do a little community service by cleaning up trash around the DMS campus. Lunch is pizza and a soft drink and we will have some munchies as well. Come join us and have a productive day!
